Amazon Saver is a new private label grocery brand from Amazon, offering affordable grocery staples. I was the lead writer as the brand was being developed. I developed the name for the brand (ask me about the thousands of names that didn’t get used) and developed the brand’s sardonic but straightforward tone. For the launch campaign in Amazon Fresh stores and on Amazon.com, I stepped into the role of creative director. I led a team of copywriters as we dug deeper into the tone of the brand, introducing it to Amazon Fresh and Amazon core shoppers.
